Summary :
Le Dr Giuseppe Pantaleo montre l'intérêt de simplifier un traitement par HAART, notamment en terme d'observance et de réduction des effets secondaires, tout en conservant efficacité virologique et reconstitution immunitaire.

Il présente les résultats de différentes études comparant des régimes thérapeutiques HAART contenant un IP avec une combinaison de 3 analogues nucléosidiques et des associations d'un INNTI et de 2 nucléosidiques. Les populations de patients concernées avaient des charges virales basses ou très élevées avant l'initiation du traitement HAART.
